A section of Idaho Highway 21 is closed following an avalanche Sunday that caused slides up to 40 feet deep. The Idaho Transportation Department announced that the stretch of highway between Grandjean and Banner Summit is closed “until further notice.” Specifically, the highway is closed from milepost 93.7 to milepost 105.5.
