After more than a century, the Central Drug Store in San Francisco is closing its doors as the owner takes a well-deserved break.

Legendary California pharmacy Central Drug Store will be closing its doors for the last time on Tuesday after 117 years.

Central Drug Store, a community staple in San Francisco's Excelsior District since 1908, will permanently shut down at the end of the day on July 15, 2025.
