Multiple parts of central Texas, including Kerr County, were shocked by flash floods Friday when the Guadalupe River rose rapidly.

Camp Mystic said on its website that it “is grieving the loss of 27 campers and counselors” in the historic flooding in along the Guadalupe River in Kerr County. The statement did not say all those missing from the camp had been found,

Central Texas was ravaged by floods over the July 4th weekend leading to deaths, including children at Camp Mystic, an all-girls summer camp.
