New York Knicks forward Josh Hart may not be the flashiest player on the team, but he might be the most willing to do the dirty work necessary to win. That's a role that's almost invaluable, especially for a contender like the Knicks.

“We're losing games I feel like we shouldn't be losing,” Knicks player Josh Hart said, per ESPN. “We've got to start figuring it out. We're halfway through. There's nothing we can do about the first half now. But if we want to be the team we're trying to be at the end of the season, we need to start correcting stuff now.”

The New York Knicks lacked the necessary horsepower to stifle the Detroit Pistons on Monday night. Behind a dominant second half for franchise face Cade Cunningham, the Pistons denied the Knicks consecutive victories, taking a 124-119 decision at Madison Square Garden.

Cade Cunningham scored 36 points, Malik Beasley had 22 and a pair of clutch 3-pointers in the final 40 seconds and the surging Detroit Pistons beat New York 124-119, their second straight victory over the Knicks after dropping the previous 16 meetings.
