Manchester City has taken its spending in the winter transfer window to more than $200 million by signing midfielder Nico Gonzalez from Porto to help cover for the absence of injured Rodri.

Manchester City have completed the signing of Nico Gonzalez from FC Porto. The 23-year-old has joined on a four-and-a-half-year deal, for a fee believed to be in the region of 60m euros (£50m).

Manchester City have signed Spanish midfielder Nico Gonzalez from Primeira Liga side Porto on a four-and-a-half-year contract, the Premier League club announced on Monday.
