The jackpot was last won on Dec. 7 when a New York lottery player won a $256 million Powerball jackpot. Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot is at $95 million with a cash option of $41.6 million, according to the Mega Millions website.

A Powerball ticket sold in Kansas won $100,000 but narrowly missed the $285 million jackpot, lottery officials say.
