Sabih Khan, an Indian-origin techie, has been appointed as Apple’s new chief operating officer (COO). The Moradabad-born executive has been part of the tech giant for nearly 30 years, and will succeed Jeff Williams.

Tech giant Apple on Wednesday elevated Moradabad-born Sabih Khan as its chief operating officer (coo), often considered the #2 in a company's leadership hierarchy, putting yet another Indian-American executive on track to lead a major tech global corporation.

Sabih Khan, an Indian American techie, has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Apple Inc. Mr Khan, will succeed Jeff Williams as COO later this month. He's currently the Vice-President of the company.
