Scottsdale police identified the man who died Monday in a crash at Scottsdale Airport as pilot Joie Vitosky, 78. Two others were critically injured.

Scottsdale Airport in Arizona was closed Monday afternoon after a business jet owned by Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil—who was not on board—veered off the runway into a parked aircraft, killing one person and hospitalizing three others, in what appears to be the latest deadly aviation incident in the United States.

The person died after two midsize business jets collided on the ground at the airport. A lawyer for rocker Vince Neil said one of the planes is his, but that the singer was not on board.
