また、日本側からは、伊藤直樹・駐ベトナム日本国特命全権大使が登壇し、ダナンは日本企業にとって投資の好機が多い都市であり、特に「ダナン自由貿易区」の設立によって、日系企業の進出がさらに促進されるとの見通しを示しました。

席上、クアン委員長は、クアンナム省との合併後の「新しい」ダナン市について紹介し、市の面積が中央直轄6都市の中で最大となり、2つの空港、3つの港湾、2つの世界文化遺産、1つの世界生物圏保護区を擁する。また、「新しい」ダナン市は開発の余地が大きく、地域競争力の向上が期待できると明らかにしました。
