After missing five games with a groin injury, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is making her return on Wednesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse against the Golden St

The Golden State Valkyries stormed Gainbridge Fieldhouse and walked away with an 80-61 victory over the host Fever, spoiling Clark's comeback from a groin injury that had cost her nearly three weeks of action. The Valkyries knocked down 12 3-pointers, but more importantly, they held Clark to 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting over 25 minutes.

Instead of sticking with her usual starting lineup, coach Stephanie White opted to start Aari McDonald in place of Lexie Hull. The move gave the Fever two primary ball handlers, as both Clark and McDonald naturally play point guard. This allowed Clark to play off-ball a bit more.
