Vanderbilt baseball advanced to the SEC tournament championship game with a 10-0, seven-inning, run-rule win over rival Tennessee in the semifinals May 24. The Commodores (41-16) got their third win over the Vols (43-16) this season as they won the series between the two teams at Lindsey Nelson Stadium earlier in May.

Vanderbilt baseball extended its winning streak to seven games by decimating the Tennessee Volunteers in the SEC Tournament. The Commodores mowed down Tennessee's batters and were relentless on offense to secure its third win this year over the Volunteers 10-0.

No. 4 seed Vanderbilt (40-16) No. 8 seed Tennessee (43-15), 10-0, in six innings in the semifinals of the 2025 SEC Tournament Saturday at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama. The game marks the first time that the Vols have been shut out and the second time that Tennessee has been run-ruled this season.
