Friday marks the 249 th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence — and the Fourth of July holiday has become one filled with fireworks, musical celebrations and other flag-waving opportunities.

UPS is closed on the Fourth of July. It's one of the few holidays that UPS recognizes, according to its website. "UPS is closed on New Year’s (Jan 1), Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan 20), Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving (Nov 27), and Christmas Day (Dec 25)," the UPS website says.
