There are statutes that do prohibit a holder from entering the premises: PC 411.204; PC 30.05; PC 30.06; PC 46.03, and PC 46.035. Aug 27, 2015 · To me, blocking anyone with any kind of mental health diagnosis from a CHL seems rather extreme, as this would describe at least 30-40% of the populace. Upon reading the text of Section 411.172 of the legislative code, the section that specifically defines eligibility criteria for a CHL, I am not at all sure where I stand.

Jul 8, 2016 · He said after 10 years for sure, I could likely get a CHL, but possibly even after only 5 years from the completion of probation, with some special application and request. I know I brought on the complication to myself, but hoping there are exceptions work arounds.

May 14, 2013 · Once I find a place to live, I plan on getting an OK DL and OK Chl to be on the safe side. I would still like to keep my texas chl if possible during my time there. It is my understanding that once I update the address on my texas chl to the new OK address my OK DL it becomes a non-resident permit.

Feb 2, 2010 · Looking for opinions since I'm on the fence here. I'm registered for the CHL class at College of the Mainland in Texas City. They provide the Glock, ammo, mags, etc. While this is a nice perk of taking the course here, I'm not sure if I want to use their Glock or take one of my XD9's that I love so much.

This board was launched because tx.guns had gotten to the point that honest discussions quickly turned into nothing more than personal attacks, often laced with profanity.
