It has five gears and a Suzuki seat (or at least a Suzi seat cover). Tank, side covers and headlamp show signs of underlying candy red that has been overpainted.

Yet another idle problem thread, 1972 CB450 | Honda Twins
Jun 26, 2018 · A year ago, my 1972 CB450 had some idling issues, the notorious 2nd gear pop-out issue, and low compression (140 psi on both cylinders). With those issues present, I decided to go ahead with a full rebuild and basically a frame-up restoration too. The bike was bored out to 0.25 over-sized and dealt with the transmission issues while at it.

History: No compression on 1 cylinder. The 2. cylinder had a compression of about 135 ibs. I also had a lot of smoke coming out of the breather hose.

I cleaned it thoroughly with non-aggressive detergents and without touching the white painted code in the inside of the shell.
