Mar 16, 2015 · Super practical, BUT all of the new mini cargo vans are FWD. So, I thought maybe it'd be worth checking into the full size work vans from Ford and GM. Seems that the new Ford Transit lacks the 4x4 they used to offer in the E-Series vans, and the GM vans don't offer the AWD they used to.

Depends how much sand and rougher dirt roads you'll be doing during the Summer. Unfortunately Quigley probably won't convert a mid-roof, and won't touch a high roof model.

Sep 21, 2024 · Posts. 13,754. I had a BRZ/FRS, and honestly, the Scion tC is a better car. Like it's not just a Subaru engine, the BRZ is a Subaru. A tail happy rear wheel drive Subaru that would be atrocious in even the lightest snow. On the stock tires, it's actually easy to drift it in the rain. The tC is a sporty Toyota Camry.

Sep 17, 2007 · It's essentially one wheel drive (rear wheel, open differential, little suspension articulation), so it is up there with the worst snow driving and easily stuck while off-road vehicles ever made, but the ground clearance is sick - it's a chevy half-ton truck base, it's way better than the AWD Astro ground clearance.

The front wheel popped out, the bike scraped down the side of the car going 80, the rear wheel held in the rack. I pulled onto the shoulder ASAP and fixed it.

Staying in 7 towns/cities across 5 countries and hopefully 6+ ski mountains (5 free with Epic Pass) in an all-wheel-drive rental car and staying in hotels on points. Pretty reasonable pricing all in. Hoping the weather cooperates with enough snow but not too much. ha ha
