Argos have increased their prices alot since they opened up here, they are now about the most expensive chain for electrical goods, add to that the nasty business of the price fixing of childrens toys they were caught out for.

So there may be bargains to be had in the coming week for larger items which are home delivery only. They have had a 'Clearance' section for YEARS... Agree a lot of their Clearance items don't appear to be great prices.

WEBJan 19, 2023 · Honestly, I think Argos is just out of date. It's essentially a trade counter. They stopped printing Argos Catalogs years ago. Why go to the Argos website and then drive to the shop, when you can just go to Amazon and your items come to you? Id say the Amazon distribution centre in Dublin was the final nail in the coffin.

WEBDec 17, 2008 · just bought a new apartment and was about to buy a wardrobe from Argos in Dublin. it is 440euro here. i thought id have a look to see how much it costs in Northern Ireland with the exchange rate being good, it is 275pounds that converters to just under 300euro. that is a massive 140 euro differnce.. WEBArgos don't own Bush, they are owned by the same parent company that doesn't mean the people working in Argos Ireland customer service know that or know anything about it. It's ultimately owned by Sainsburys who own many other companies from the same address.
