You may try to double click the header area to access the header pane, then check if you can select the background image to change or delete it. I've been trying to make a brochure for an organization and am unable to change the stock pictures because they are grayed out. I've gone to View and Print Layout and double clicked on the grayed out stock picture (as recommended) but it remains gray.

Jan 26, 2020 · The backwards P is a paragraph mark. The paragraph mark near the bottom of page 1 has a space before it, please try deleting both. If that doesn't fix it, select the very last paragraph mark at the top of page 2 and apply this formatting to it: Font size 1 point. Paragraph, set sapce before and after to 0.

Jun 15, 2018 · If the OP uses the Format Picture task pane she may be able to avoid all the gyrations of steps 4-7. All I did here was click File on that pane, the selected a different image. [Alternatively, Shape Fill> Picture on the Shape Format tab could be used as well.] The key factor is the aspect ratio of the replacement image.

Sep 18, 2019 · Report abuse. The background is not a background, it is an image in the header that is grouped. You can ungroup the image and then delete parts, replacing them with something else. Since parts are simple shapes, you can simply change the color. Here is a temporary link to a sample where I changed some filtering rectangles from purple to blue:

How do I add new pages while creating brochures?
Am trying to create a bi-fold brochure and thought using one of the templates such as "school program" or "picture program" would do the trick. However, when I added page numbers it did one page number per sheet rather than 2, which seems to defeat the purpose of using a template. Also, I can't see how I add new pages. Any advice?
