Two tamales (their tamales are already oversized by comparison to the standard Costco tamales OP discusses) in a giant tortilla with rice and beans and I think sauce. Jun 13, 2022 · I have not tried the tamales at Los Compadres in Franklin (a cafe counter in the back of a mercado on Main Street), but the tortas and tacos are on point and very authentic. Dec 24, 2020 · Anyways, you need to get to a Hispanic neighborhood. Tons of great restaurants in East Boston, Chelsea, Waltham, Everett and East Somerville serve tamales. Because Tamales are more of a Guatemalan specialty (especially on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve), I would recommend Mi Tierra in Waltham. It's outstanding.
