Even before covid they were hiking up the prices and the customer service sucked. After the bike shortage post-covid those prices skyrocketed, same used goods, same poor customer service.
Does anyone actually purchase bikes from "The Pros Closet"?
The pros closet ad had it for 1800.00. A 4 year old low to mid tier aluminum bike with crappy mismatched wheels and chipped paint for 200.00 more than it retailed for. If I were selling my bike with the upgrades and PM, I'd ask for about 1000.00. That's all I ever needed to see for me to completely ignore that site.

Theyll probably sell it for $1500-$1600 which you can maybe get $1400 but its not worth the hassle, thats a good enough deal imho. They wanted to buy my dads 2015 or 2016 (i forget, silver with red) cervelo r3 with 6800 and upgraded wheels for $1400.

In April I bought a set of wheels on Craigslist, a set of HED Belgiums originally built by November Bicycles for $150. The seller told me he'd originally taken it to The Pros Closet and they offered him $75.

Yes they’re legit. I usually never buy from eBay or the likes, but Pros Closet is my one exception. They also have great customer service and have made some great recommendations when things I was looking for are out of stock. Definitely recommend!

My friend tried to sell his bike with them over the winter but he never get a price to accept up front ( as in he would have needed to accept the offer without knowing how much he was getting for his bike, any idea if there’s a way to view the value of an offer before accepting?
