Aug 18, 2024 · Considering the progress this emulator is making I wouldn't be surprised if it's almost perfectly playing Bloodborne by the end of the year. Sony fucked up. Now even if they do eventually release a PC port they'll lose sales to this.

Dec 18, 2024 · I'm 40+ and the answer is four games: Bloodborne, Outer Wilds, Returnal and The Last of Us Part 2. Prey (2017) is dangerously close as well. BB for me is the perfect evolution of the Souls formula. It's faster, more agressive and the cosmic horror angle is fantastic. Outer Wilds is just a gem of an exploration game.

PS4 Emulator, shadPS4, can now boot games into a playable state
Jul 8, 2024 · I don't think Sony will give us a Bloodborne port in its current form. A remake maybe, but the current version is dead af officially. Emulation or a hacked PS4 Pro will be the options for 60 fps Bloodborne in the future.

Between that game, Bloodborne (my first Souls game that I completed), The Witcher 3, and Batman Arkham Knight, 2015 was definitely one of my favorite years ever. All four games are incredible experiences, flaws and all.

Nov 21, 2020 · Bloodborne is over rated and runs like absolute hell. I'm sure there's a good game in there somewhere, but it ain't available for us. Meanwhile Demon's Souls (going off the PS3 original I played through earlier this year via emulation at 4k60) is probably the most fun and beginner friendly Souls game.

Nov 2, 2024 · Got the image from someone i know on discord that got the console early from a retailer, not sure yet what it specifically does or how well, but presumably sony made a systemwide upscaling pass for all PS4 games to improve image quality, so this should even affect games like Bloodborne (no it wouldnt unlock it to 60fps).
