In developing quantum mechanical theory, physicist Paul Dirac, born on this day, predicted that all matter has a kind of mirror image - antimatter. Dirac's theory was revolutionary, and later would be proved experimentally. He was awarded the #NobelPrize in 1933 which he shared with Erwin Schrödinger.
