The DeHavilland DHC2 Beaver is an iconic Canadian aircraft that first flew in August 1947. The aircraft was designed as a rugged, utilitarian aircraft for bush flying, cargo transport, reconnaissance and passenger transport in remote and challenging environments and has an excellent Short Take-Off and Landing capability.
