Coventry 1940-1960 - A city risen from the ashes Of all the bombing raids on Coventry, the night of 14/15 November was the worst the bombs started falling early evening and did not stop until 6.30am the next day, the raid was the largest single, and most devastating, air raid on Britain of WW2, ripping the heart out of one of the country's most historic and medieval city's. | British & Commonwealth Forces
