❤️‍🩹Today, I gave myself space to just be. To stop trying to talk my way through it or make it mean something more. I cried. I journaled. I talked with my husband. I had a cupcake. Watched some mindless TV. Took a real nap. It’s part of me working on the “letting go”—dealing with the exhaustion of the “holding” for so long. 💞And I let myself feel whatever I needed to feel. Because that’s really all we can do on days like this— the anniversaries, the grief days, the ones that changed everything
