It was all hands (& wings & necks & webbed feet) on deck for an all-inclusive flamingo flock exam this week 🦩 Our vet staff teamed up with keepers and volunteers to examine all 18 flamingos. Besides physical exams to make sure these pretty pinkies are in prime health, the flamingos got vaccines, were weighed, and then gently released back into their cool habitat, where they couldn’t wait to shake off the stinky humans! #VetTales Friday | Oakland Zoo
