Small spoons are great lures for trout. Shown here are the classic Phoebe spoons in gold and silver. To fish spoons in streams, cast them up stream and towards the opposite bank. When the spoon hits the water, begin to slowly reel it in with a steady retrieve. If there is a fast current, you will need to reel more quickly.
