he Nintendo Switch 2, which launched on June 5th 2025, has redesigned the Mii creation system. Unlike the original Switch, which prompted players to choose between male or female avatars, the Switch 2 offers two gender-neutral “styles” to start from instead. The new system provides players with a basic, unassigned avatar that can then be customized in detail.
