AAC is life changing! This speech device gives our son the ability to communicate with us MORE! Yes, he does have some verbal speech and it’s absolutely amazing! He’s worked so hard to get where he is today. Apraxia of speech makes it difficult for him to say words verbally. Sometimes he’s not able to say words at all. That’s where his AAC device comes in.
