On July 19, 1986 NWA World Championship Wrestling aired from the Columbia Township Auditorium in Columbia, South Carolina. The event was a special “Bash on Tour” show with Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling. On August 16, 1985 AWA’s “Wrestling For A Cure” show took place in front of 5,000 fans at Northeastern University’s Matthews Arena in Boston, Massachusetts and aired live on WCVB Channel 5 in the Boston area.
