Duane Retraction Syndrome is a congenital ocular motility disorder resulting from abnormal development of the abducens nerve, with aberrant innervation of the lateral rectus muscle by the oculomotor nerve. Clinically, it is characterized by limited or absent abduction, possible limitation of adduction, and a distinctive globe retraction with narrowing of the palpebral fissure during adduction. Widening of the palpebral fissure may be observed on attempted abduction. Most cases are unilateral, th
