I was deep into needle turn applique when I realised I’d pulled the applique piece too far over the backing fabric. It wouldn’t sit flat, and the stitches had started to distort and pull away. I had no option but to unpick that section. I added more pins to hold everything in place, and restitched carefully—pulling the thread tight just enough and checking every few stitches.⁠ ⁠ It’s slow, but worth it.
