Bundaberg’s Burnett Bridge turned 125 this year and honestly… look at it. The photos in QSA’s collection show it rising span by span until it opened in 1900. It was designed by Alfred Barton Brady, surely one of the busiest men in Queensland. Across the state, he designed four customs houses (Rockhampton, Townsville Maryborough and Mackay) along with major bridges (including the third Victoria Bridge in Brisbane).
