A very soggy day last week looking at potential ram lambs to breed from this year. They have had a fairly hard run of shortage of food thanks to the draught, then a couple of high worm burdens once the rain did come - so anything looking decent at this stage has done well! Selecting under pressure means only the rams best suited to low input systems make it through.
