On June 29, 1998 WWF Raw is War aired live on the USA Network from the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Just 24 hours after losing the WWF Championship to Kane in a First Blood match at the King of the Ring pay-per-view, Stone Cold Steve Austin challenges Kane to rematch during Vince McMahon’s presentation of the title to Kane. Kane accepts the challenge and they square off in the main event. Stone Cold would go on to defeat Kane (with Paul Bearer) for his second WWF World Heavyweight Championship

On February 2, 1998 WWF Raw is War aired on the USA Network from Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana. D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Chyna) opened the show giving their unforgettable “State of the Union Address” in a classic attitude era moment. The show also featured Cactus Jack (Mick Foley) and Chainsaw Charlie (Terry Funk) going at it in a hardcore match.
