February 1, 2025, marked the one-year anniversary since ALERTCalifornia cameras were integrated into CAL FIRE’s Incident webpages - enhancing wildfire detection and response across the state. Over the past year, these cutting-edge cameras, coupled with Artificial Intelligence (AI), aided in the detection of more than 1,600 wildfires within CAL FIRE’s jurisdiction, helping firefighters respond faster, quickly scale needed fire resources, support evacuations through enhanced situational awareness
