Germany has received the first P-8A Poseidon, as it mulls boosting maritime surveillance. The handed over maritime reconnaissance aircraft is the first of a total of eight P-8A Poseidon ordered. The P-8A with registration 63 01 recently completed its maiden flight and the integration of the mission systems in Seattle. Germany aims to replace the aging P-3C Orion fleet of Naval Aviation Wing 3 in Lower Saxony with the new fleet of P-8A. #aircraft | FL360aero
