Wednesdays at Tehachapi State Prison have quickly become something sacred to me. Our peer-to-peer mentorship & recovery program is taking root in the most powerful way. Mentors and mentees are bonding deeply, trust is forming, and stories are being shared—openly and courageously. We’ve had mentors step up and speak their truth, other incarcerated men share their journeys in recovery, and staff from across the institution participate alongside us, including the chaplain and substance abuse treatm
